Introduction to L-ISA and immersive audio

Thursday May 6th from 4:30pm (BST)

with Scott Sugden and Etienne Corteel from L-Acoustics

Join us for the latest instalment  in our fantastic L-Acoustics series of seminars.

This webinar highlights the benefits of L-ISA over traditional sound design solutions for live performances, permanently installed projects or special events. Attendees will learn how L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal technology improves the experience for the audience and allows the sound designer and the artist onstage more creative freedom.

Founded by Christian Heil in 1984, L-Acoustics has been a bold innovator in the world of live sound. Among technologies first developed by L-Acoustics are the line array, wavefront sculpture technology and 3D system simulation. L-Acoustics continues to innovate and lead the way today, as research and innovation are core focuses of the company. L-Acoustics systems can be heard from Broadway and the West End to international music festivals and houses of worship across the globe

This series of lectures will provide the attendees with a deeper understanding of industry-wide concepts, while also providing a look at some of these industry-leading developments. The first three seminars will focus on loudspeakers and system design, providing additional understanding of deployment and calibration.  The second three will take a look into immersive sound technology with a specific focus on the L-ISA spatial sound system. Presented exclusively to members of the ASD, we hope to be able to engage attendees across the experience spectrum in a continuing conversation, as great ideas benefit us all.

When you register for this session your confirmation email will give you the zoom co-ordinates.

If you have any questions about the session please email us.
