Binaural recording: fundamentals and creative application with Mike Winship
Monday 17th October 5.30pm-6.30pm
followed by drinks
Participants are welcome to arrive from 5pm
The creative potential in binaural recordings is increasingly a hot topic in theatre, especially as organisations continue to increase their ‘digital’ programme offering. Mike will draw on his extensive experience in both binaural recording and theatrical sound design to cover the technical fundamentals and discuss their creative application.
In a first for the ASD, this seminar will be held in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and offers sound practitioners in the region an opportunity to gather for an interesting afternoon’s seminar followed by drinks in the bar.
Please note, the ASD reserves the right to make changes to the programme without prior notice. Such alterations may occasionally be necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.
All events will be filmed and photographed - your presence confirms your permission for the ASD to use any images or recordings of you in our publicity materials and seminar archive.
The ASD does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information or views expressed on its training courses including course material. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers and not necessarily those of the ASD. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations.
