All fees become due at the start of our financial year, September 1st annually.
Fees are reviewed annually.
Your membership will automatically renew on September 1st, unless you have emailed us
to ask not to be auto-renewed. The system will attempt to take a recurring payment from you each September 1st. We use Stripe as a payment processor, who hold your payment details within your Stripe account, if you have one. We do not otherwise store any credit card or bank account details.
Insurance policies we provide are not valid until membership payment has been received. When you renew your membership you will be invoiced for the full membership year from the previous 1st September until the following 1st September.
If you chose to not have your membership auto-renew, you become responsible for renewing or not renewing your account. However when you renew your membership you will be invoiced for the full membership year from the previous 1st September until the following 1st September.
If you have not responded to our emails and your membership fees have not been paid within 6 months of becoming due we will assume that you have terminated your membership of the ASD and your account will be deleted.

This posting policy covers the email discussion forums and Facebook group provided by the Association of Sound Designers to it's members
These forums are for the discussion of sound design, and the industry surrounding it. If your post doesn't relate directly to this we ask you to use private email or another form of communication. The success of a discussion forum depends on the relevance of the material on it.
Your email will be sent to virtually every member of the ASD. Particularly bear this in mind when replying to a topic. You may prefer to reply directly to someone rather than the whole membership.
We invite you to use the ASD general mailing list to engage with our members about your products. So as to avoid our list appearing to our members as spam we ask you to avoid posting press releases, but instead to engage with our members on a personal level. We hope this means they will also feel more inclined to reply and engage with you about your products, which can only be a good thing.
